Bowl cover

This bowl (batil) cover has a detachable knob on top. It is decorated with floral bands that alternates with plain ones.Bowls or 'batil' are of hemispherical shape, slightly flattened at the base and often without a footrim. The body of the bowl can be lobed or octagonal in form.
