Wedding sari

The sari (or saree) is a piece of cloth (cotton, synthetic material or silk), ranging from 6 to 9 yards in length and worn over a blouse and petticoat. The sari is draped around the body and is worn in varying ways depending on the style prevalent in the particular Indian community.
