Deity turban

This piece of headgear is a miniature turban manufactured for use as part of a costume for deity. Idols in Hindu temples are usually dressed in a full set of costume. Headgear is quite common and can take the form of crowns, or turbans such as this which could be further ornamented with jewellery.
